[0:00] A Pastor's Reflections, No Place Too Low. Genesis 24, 12-13. And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness. Behold, I stand here by the well of water. [0:18] Exodus 14, 15. And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. 2 Corinthians 9, 8. [0:31] And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Rank and position are not a factor in the kingdom of God, and neither are circumstances and location. [0:48] The things that are of importance to the citizens of God's kingdom are not the things that are so often the biggest factors of our earthly lives. The world places great value on who they are and what they have done. [1:03] They seek to attain position, title, and power through their accomplishments. A somebody in the world is always seeking to place themselves in a good situation. But God's economy is so much different. [1:16] Where the world would see a waste of time, God sees great opportunity. A location the world would avoid, God will use to shape the course of history. In Genesis 24, Abraham's servant is standing by the most nondescript of everyday places. [1:33] A well. It would be the equivalent today of being in a grocery store. A place of everyday necessities for the things of life, but not one that makes the headlines for its world-shaping news. [1:46] How many nation-changing events have you heard of taking place at the grocery store? Not many come to mind. Yet these are the very places God loves to do His greatest work for eternity. [1:58] God takes what the world would consider worthless and adds great value to it by the work He accomplishes There is no place to love. [2:34] For God to use. In fact, it is through the lowly that God does His greatest works. God's kingdom is position and situation independent and is never hindered by location. [2:47] However, the kingdom of God is very much heart-dependent. It is with the heart willing to be at God's disposal in all circumstances and locations that God is able to affect not the world, but eternity. [2:59] Be open to being used by God, whether in the grocery store or in the palace, and may God give you good speed in your service to His kingdom. [3:12] Father, what a joy it is to be a part of your borderless kingdom. There is no place or location that the kingdom of God can be kept out of. You are able to penetrate both the highest and the humblest of places by your Spirit. [3:27] And yet how often you find the lowest of places to be those of your greatest work. May our hearts be open to you in humility, that we might be used by you in all places. [3:39] Amen.
